pc-music.com is a resource created to come to the aid of anyone wanting to make music on their computer. There are dizzying amounts of products, software, interfaces and boxes all dying to get aquainted with your computer that squats on, or under, your desk, noisily trembling with possibilities, completely unaware of the awesome musical power it harbours. However, no one seems willing to explain very much and tend to assume that you're a technology wizard. This is what has brought you to me. I believe I can help, I can get you going in the right direction and I can point out a few good choices. If you want to find out what's possible with your humble PC and a desire to make music then this is the place to be.

You'll find articles here talking about how to set up your own computer music studio, discussing soundcards and software and explaining what it all means. You'll also find most of the available products used for making music listed and reviewed here and, thanks to Rain Recording , you can buy them here now too! So, as well as getting all the info and advice you need to start understanding computer music you can buy the gear here and let me support you in the installation and use - how marvellous is that?

I've split everything up into categories to make things a bit easier to manage and you'll find an overview of each category before the list of included products. The first paragraph describing each of the products is my comment or opinion on it, after that it's information from the manufacturer and you'll find more of that and often demos on the products website. The products here are not exhaustive and I hope to be able to add to it over time - and if you don't see what you're after then let me know, or if you'd like to see your products listed and reviewed here then send me one!
